Festival : La Magie des Orgues

The Festival The Magic Of Organs, which has four outstanding concerts, is held in June in the Sainte-Maxime church.

Opening Concert – Organ and Baroque Music – Jean-Baptiste LASSERRE
This opening concert invites you on a journey through the centuries, exploring the history of the organ from the 18th to the 20th century. From the pre-Baroque period to Romanticism, through Baroque and Classical music, you will discover the works of great masters such as Buxtehude, Sweelinck, Bach, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Alain, and Dupré. A Journey to the Heart of the Contemporary Organ – Stéphane Eliot

While remaining a traditional instrument, the organ reinvents itself to surprise and amaze.

The Magic of the Romantic Organ – Nick Goudkuil
Dive into the moving world of the Romantic organ during this exceptional concert, honoring composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. Let yourself be transported by the works of Poulenc, Peeters, Wammes, Goudkuil, Bach, Trenet, Debussy, Satie, and Duruflé, and experience a total immersion in the rich and expressive atmosphere of this musical period. Closing Concert – The Organ in All Its Forms – Antoine Eliot
To bring the festival to a beautiful close, this concert will highlight the organ's versatility through an eclectic repertoire, blending sacred music, symphonic pieces, and improvisations. Pieces by Bach, Buxtehude, Gigout, Franck, Hakim, and Boëllmann offer a dazzling spectacle where the organ, in all its facets, reveals its eternal modernity.
