Magie : Le paradoxe de Georges

Yann Frisch's cartomagic show turns cards upside down and manages to move us with simple pieces of printed cardboard!

The art of this former world close-up champion is to transport us into the realm of illusion and show us that appearances can only be deceiving. The herald of the new magic even goes so far as to manipulate the mind, and the audience doubts...

For this self-proclaimed ‘swindler’, faced with willing ‘victims’, the opportunity is just too good to question chance, play with symbols and lead the audience by the nose as close as possible to his table.

It's a cosy atmosphere in this living room with its vintage furniture and accessories, where he performs his tricks to perfection, capturing their attention and arousing their admiration and amazement. On the face of it, there's nothing original about it... except that Yann Frisch has decided to change the rules of the game! Relinquishing his role as a bluffing conjurer, a tightrope walker of hands and words, he is going to take on the role of Mr Loyal to his own interpretations.

It's enough to unsettle the audience's certainties, caught up in a flood of false truths, convoluted questioning and acrobatic acts (the cards don't have to lie!). Faced with so many verbal and visual feats, the audience is left dizzy for an hour and a half, dazed, groggy, as if weightless.

MAY THE MAGIC BE WITH YOU

Yann Frisch and his team are setting up their theatre van at the entrance to Le Carré. In a large tent set up at the entrance, stop off to enjoy cinnamon biscuits, accompanied by tea, coffee or mulled wine concocted for you by the Theatre team. Let's rediscover the spirit of Christmas in a spirit of joy and sharing.
