The Lake of Sainte Croix

Gorges du Verdon

– By foot, by car, canyoning or paragliding ? You choose ! Discover this mysterious canyon with different facets in the way that suits you the most. Sporty or not you can contemplate this wonder of nature.

– By car, motorcycle or bicycle
Take the "Route des Crêtes" with its multiple panoramic views. 24 kms giving you unforgettable views ! 14 lookouts will reveal the incomparable Verdon. The departure of the "Route des Crêtes" (D23) is 800 meters from the exit of the village of La Palud sur Verdon in the direction of the east.


– By foot
Take the hiking itinaries symbols of the Gorges du Verdon « Le Blanc Martel » over 15 kms, laid out along the river. Departure at the Chalet de la Maline, towards the Sublime Point. Caution delicate passages, not accessible in strollers. Trail prohibited for children under 8 and dogs.


– Sporting mode
Passionnate for thrills and sports, different providers offer you the descent of the Verdon from Castellane in rafting, canyoning, kayaking, aqua rando, hydro-speed...


– Paragliding
If you want to fly above this gem of nature, nothing like flying to dominate this great canyon !

The Plateau of Valensole

A lavender sea in the Alpes de Haute Provence department. Geometrically aligned, lavender gives you an exceptional blue color. The ideal is to go from June to early August.
